Collage Art and Improv Comedy
This is my improv troupe, Tilt! We are an indie team at Atlas Improv Company in Madison, WI. We perform improvised one-act plays (also known as long form narrative improvisational theater).
As a Research Assistant on the Grassland 2.0 Project, I created a series of educational zines about land justice issues, which pose both barriers and opportunities for Upper Midwest dairy farming and its transition to grass-based agroecosystems. Check out The Gra-Zine Land Series here!
In the summer of 2021, I created a stop-motion collage lecture for Geography 309: People, Land, and Food. The lecture explains the Agricultural Adjustment Act of 1933, the first Farm Bill, the impacts it had on farmers in different parts of the world, and the implications these impacts have for the possibility of a Green New Deal for agriculture.
